I love this time of year. A step-change in the weather requires warmer clothes and allows us to explore some of Holland and Sherry’s beautiful winter fabric collections. When my lovely client Emma came in for her consultation, her brief was simple: a long-line blazer, made in a cloth suited to her warm skin-tone and perfect for work and play.

The Cut: We chose a relaxed shawl neckline perfectly finished with a single button closing: the curved hem edge favours a soft and flattering finish whilst the flap pockets helpfully break up the flow of fabric on this long-line blazer.

The Colour: This blazer is the embodiment of Autumn with a perfect blend of warm browns and blues, a cosy textural boucle finish with a style that encapsulates the cooler months ahead. The fabric is a blend of wool and cashmere

The Use: A perfectly balanced blazer smart enough for work with navy/brown trousers yet a laid back coolness ready to be dressed down with flannel or jeans for the weekend.
