Design
Occasion-wear for weddings and events as such, often require that something a little extra special. Our bespoke tailoring service allows you to create a truly unique outfit, tailored to fit you perfectly and made in a standalone fabric. Nooshin welcomes any ideas and fabric swatches you may have and will assist in bringing your vision to life with sketches whilst ensuring the design ultimately, flatters your shape. We are passionate about fit and Nooshin will take over 20 measurements during your initial consultation.
Fabric
Bringing your bespoke garment to life with your chosen cloth is very exciting and Nooshin will ensure it compliments your design and flatters your skin-tone. We have an extensive collection of fabric from wools to silk in Savile Row, which allow you a close-up with some of the most exquisite fabrics in the world. If you are looking for a specialist cut of silk or lace, I can assist you on a shopping trip ensuring that any fabric selected works with your design.
The fitting process
First fitting: Your pattern is drafted by hand and made into a toile, which is effectively a ‘try on’ garment using cotton. This allows you the opportunity to see your design and get a ‘feel’ for your bespoke garment. It is at this point Nooshin will make any necessary alterations to achieve a perfectly fitted, well-balanced garment.
Bringing your garment to life: With your garment now cut to cloth you can now truly appreciate the exquisite fabric, design and drape on your form. Constructed and sewn together by hand, Nooshin will make her finer alterations at this stage thus perfecting the fit.
Finish: All of our bespoke garments are made here, in the UK, allowing us full artistic control over each piece. These are investment pieces, tailored to last and therefore take time to finish. You can expect to collect your garment 3-4 weeks after your fabric fitting.
