DESIGNING YOUR BUSINESS WARDROBE
Our bespoke tailoring service allows you to design and have a tailored garment made from scratch. Perhaps you have always dreamt of a 60’s inspired suit (think Jackie Kennedy) or a classic double-breasted blazer that nips and tucks in all the right places? These garments are inspired by your vision and with the help of Nooshin, who will bring your ideas to life with sketches and fabric swatches – whilst making sure it ultimately flatters your shape. We are passionate about fit and Nooshin will take over 20 measurements during your initial consultation, getting the most out of your fitting.
THE FABRIC
Bringing your bespoke garment to life with your chosen cloth is very exciting. Nooshin will expertly advise you through making sure it compliments your design and flatters your skin-tone. We have an extensive collection of fabric from wools to silk, in Savile Row, which allow you a close-up with some of the most exquisite fabrics in the world. If you are looking for a specialist cut of silk or lace, I can assist you on a shopping trip ensuring that any fabric selected, works with your design.
BESPOKE FITTING PROCESS
First Fitting: Your pattern is drafted by hand and made into a toile, which is effectively a ‘try on’ garment using cotton. This allows you the opportunity to see your design and get a feel for your bespoke garment. It is at this point Nooshin will make any necessary alterations to achieve a perfectly fitted, well-balanced garment.
Bringing your garment to life: With your garment now cut to cloth you can now truly appreciate the exquisite fabric, design and drape on your form. Constructed and sewn together by hand, Nooshin will make her finer alterations at this stage, thus perfecting the fit.
Finish: All of our bespoke garments are handmade here, in the UK, allowing us full artistic control over each piece. These are investment pieces, tailored to last, and therefore, take time to finish. You can expect to collect your garment 3-4 weeks after your fabric fitting.
